A pied-à-terre (French, "foot on the ground") is a small living unit usually located in a large city some distance away from an individual's primary residence.
The 1st Flat offers an elegant home base for guests looking to experience the best of Oregon's Wine Country. Designed around a Pied-a'-Terre theme, this cozy flat is warm and inviting--the perfect place to settle in while you take your time exploring historic McMinnville and the rest of the valley. Decorated in sumptuous blues and golds, the 400 square foot one bedroom apartment has a queen-sized bed, a bathroom with tub/shower, a living room, and a petite kitchen. High ceilings and large windows that look out to the Willamette Valley Vineyards Wine Center lend an open feel.
The flat features free wifi; a flat screen tv; air conditioning; ipod docking station; fabulous linens & bed; bamboo floors throughout; recycled paperstone counters in the kitchen; and complimentary local Pinot noir and Sea Salt Caramels from Honest Chocolates waiting for you upon your arrival.
Like all our flats, the Pied-a'-Terre features original works from local artists in both oils and water color, including Candice Cameron, Terry Peasley, Doreen Wynja, Jeanne Cuddleford and Kathleen Jones.
