Inspired by the agricultural bounty of the valley and utilizing reclaimed products throughout, The 2nd Flat: Olio e Aceto is the perfect expression of many of the ideals that define Oregon: locavore instincts, a love of recycled and reclaimed products and a dedication to cooking locally sourced foods. With furniture pieces hand crafted by a local artisan and local art on the walls, this one-bedroom flat doesn’t just say Oregon, it IS Oregon.

The perfect destination for guests who want to prepare their own feast in wine country, the spacious kitchen has been designed especially for foodies and those who love to cook when they travel. Fully equipped and flooded with light from the skylight overhead, this is a cook’s kitchen, complete with a hand made dining table, carefully crafted from reclaimed wood. Floor to ceiling windows provide a view of life on the street below, which features McMinnville’s vibrant Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, May through September.

Local artists Bradley Speer and Mitch Horning are featured in this flat.

3rd Street Flats has two locations in downtown McMinnville. Flats at the Historic McMinnville Bank are on the second story of the building and are NOT handicapped accessible. The only way to access the flats is via a staircase. Flats at the Odd Fellows Lodge are located on the second and third stories of the building, also only accessible via a staircase.

We accept VISA, Master Card and American Express. You will be charged for your stay the day of your arrival.

You will be charged for any damages to your flat, including, but not limited to, broken or stained furniture or equipment; missing items; or loss of revenue due to smoking in the flat.

Minimum Stay:
There is a two night minimum on weekends, May – October. Holidays and special wine country weekends may also be subject to minimum stay requirements.

Both of 3rd Street Flats locations are strictly non-smoking properties. Any violation of this policy will result in cleaning fees equal to a minimum of one night’s stay. Smokers who render a room unacceptable for incoming guests must compensate 3rd Street Flats for lost revenue.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations require a 30 day notice prior to date of arrival for a refund, less a $50 booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days, the guest is responsible for the full value of the reservation, less any value 3rd Street Flats is able to recoup by rebooking the flat. No refunds for flats not re-rented. Shortening your stay is considered a cancellation. Multiple flat reservations of 3 or more require a 60 day cancellation notice. Failure to give notice for a cancellation will result in full charge for reservation.
