Historic McMinnville Bank
Built in 1885…
Located in the heart of downtown McMinnville, the Historic McMinnville Bank is steps away from the best wine, dining and shopping the Willamette Valley has to offer. Built in 1885 as the McMinnville Bank (which operated for less than a decade), this Italianate building has been home to a variety of businesses over the past 136 years. From a business college to a butcher shop, the history of McMinnville has unfolded on this site.
Occupying the second story of the building, 3rd Street Flats offers guest the chance to stay in one of four uniquely inspired flats, all perfectly outfitted for two people. Conveniently located across the street from a natural foods grocery store and the Willamette Valley Vineyards tasting room, guests don’t have to amble more than a few feet for great wine or a few provisions. La Rambla Restaurant, offering Spanish tapas and artful cocktails, is right next door, so fine dining is close at hand. Just downstairs guests will enjoy stopping in at The Bitter Monk, a craft beer tasting room that serves light nibbles as well. Free parking is easily accessible from the building both on street and in public lots.
Wander down the street and you will find eighteen wineries and tasting rooms within easy walking distance, as well as a foodie scene that has been heralded internationally. Boutique shops abound, making Historic Downtown McMinnville the Willamette Valley’s premier place to take stroll.
